This was taken on the grounds of a retreat center in California that we love to go to. It will be our first stop on our annual summer trek. It is such a serene place and I love going there. This pond is near the dining hall, and there are a couple of swans. Swans are such elegant, peaceful birds. The kids love to visit the swans. We have taken the kids several times to this place, so there is now a sense of familiarity there.We leave in 10 days!!! I have begun to pack, which makes it all very real.
