girl's gig

Miss Elaine arranged for Skylar and Annabel to play a short concert with her at a coffee house. The girls came up with their song lists and practiced for a couple of weeks. They were so excited and also nervous. But they did great. Elaine opened up, followed by Sky on guitar and voice performing a few of her original songs. Then Annabel sang a couple of songs from her favorite musicals. They were really quite good! Sky and Annabel were most excited to get tips, which they split three ways, and a free desert and bottle of water. The owner told our girls, "You can come back and sing here anytime."

Gary and I are scheming...hmm...bring guitars...our girls singing in French and Italian restaurants...maybe we could eat for free this summer...tee hee!
